Head back in time with a fab combination of live music, classic vehicles, 60s fashion and heritage rail travel. Visit Goathland, once known as Aidensfield of Heartbeat fame, with classic cars and live music from The Sonics and Dusty ‘Miss Sixties’ Springfield. Fancy a bit of Beatlemania? Visit Levisham station, with live music from The Vox Beatles and a selection of truly classic vehicles. Experience live music and our ‘Big Night Out’ 60s show at Pickering Station, hosted by the fantastic Minster FM. Or travel to Grosmont, for a selection of classic cars and free children's activities.

Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens - Friday 12th July to Sunday 14th July 2019

The festival is uniquely set in one of the UK's finest Elizabethan stately piles, our very own Burton Agnes Hall! Over twenty five bands provide a weekend of Jazz and Blues from our manicured lawns and inside our ornately carved Great Hall. There is civilised camping with hot showers in the adjacent park field, children's entertainers, local ale and food, late night acts in the bar tent and open mic performances in our courtyard.

The Two Four Three Road Racing Association is proud to announce that road racing will return to Oliver's Mount this year, with the full backing of Scarborough Borough Council. The first confirmed meeting is the Barry Sheene Classic on 27th and 28th July which will take place around the challenging 2.43 mile public road race track.

The Ryedale Show was established in 1855 and is a traditional Agricultural Show renowned for its very high standard of entries in all Sections and Trade Stands that attend in ever growing numbers each year. The Show is run with both the farming community and townspeople's interests in mind and there are attractions for everyone of all ages.

The show offers great value for money, with a full and varied day of entertainment with some wonderful retail therapy as well.

Goldwing Light Parade - Saturday 7th September 2019

The Scarborough GoldWing Light Parade - the UK’s best Glittering GoldWing weekend ever returns in September  There is a Goldwings Preview on West Pier between 10 am and 4 pm. At 8.00pm, the dazzling GoldWings will parade along Scarborough’s North and South Bays promenades to the delight of thousands of spectators who now turn up especially to see this brilliantly illuminated spectacle Finishing the day off with a Fireworks Display on South Bay Beach at 9.15 pm... and it’s all in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

P1 Powerboat Championship

P1 returns to Scarborough’s beautiful South Bay in September, for the  SuperStock UK Championship finale!

The North Yorkshire coast will be the final P1 SuperStock destination at the beginning of September as Scarborough hosts a championship round for a third successive year. With its historic harbour and castle headland, the town’s South Bay offers a natural amphitheatre for racing and for spectators.

Whitby Goth Festival.

Festival: 25th-27th October 2019

Over the past few decades, Whitby has become synonymous with goth culture with its biannual Goth Festival bringing fans of the darker side of life flocking to the town. This October's Goth Weekend will also see Whitby Pavilion host the first Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival, which will comprise of bands, film, theatre and markets over three days from 26th to 28th October.
